Rob Probus

Pastor of The Wave
I am thoroughly blessed to be married to my high school sweetheart (Erin), the father of 2 boys (Zane & Levi), and  a pastor on staff at Avon United Methodist Church.  Now that I have finished my rookie year as a pastor, I'm so excited about launching the Wave with a crew of committed members from AUMC!   Before becoming a licensed pastor in 2014, I owned and operated my own media production company for 9 years and worked part-time as the AV Director of Mooresville First UMC.
Here are a few random bits of trivia about me:
- I have played guitar since I was 14 years old and have been in multiple bands.
- I really enjoy watching movies and great stories told visually (Youtube, TV, etc.).
- I thoroughly enjoy reading books. (FYI, Dave Ramsey says that the average millionaire reads at least 1 non-fiction book per month.)
- I have 3 younger sisters...much younger.  They live in Bloomington (IN), New York City (NY), and DeLand (FL).
- I was born in Los Angeles, CA.

Expect to find journal entries below with updates, challenges, or Wave info.

Elijah was a human being, even as we are.  He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.  Again he prayed, and the heavens gave …

What the Apostles Taught

Keystone habits impact other habits of our lives.  For example, the habit of working out regularly can lead to improvements in dietary choices, sleeping more restfully, and overall better health.  The earliest Christians had a keystone commitment to the teachings of the apostles.  This commitment was combined with other key commitments listed in the book of
